alias Friedrich PHILIPP- PESENDORFER,
was born in 1969 in Oberwart (Austria).
He received his first music lessons at the age of 6 including recorder & trumpet. In 1976 he choosed the drums to be his favorite instrument.1983 he attended percussion courses at the Music University of Graz/Austria.Further on he studied Jazzvibraphone & Jazztheory at the Berklee Summercollege of Music in Perugia / Italy.1986 he switched to the vibraphone .1989 became Principal Percussionist of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.2000 composes the music to the ballet " caravaggio" with tunakan & pulsinger for the volksoper wien.2004 concert at the opera in cairo/egypt with an original composition "dissonata concordata" for 2 percussions and 2 pianos with Ferhan & Ferzan Önder .2006 Austrian premiere of "marimbavibe" a piece for marimba/vibraphone & stringquartet composed by the austrian free jazz legend Michael Mantler.Project at the Kunsthaus KAZ bregenz with the electronic improvisation trio "Gaze“ feat.french vocalist Alice Daquet.One Week Percussion Masterclass at the“ Bunri University“ in Tokushima (Japan).2007 writes "sketches" for „gradus ad parnassum“ a young musicians contest for the category "solo percussion" & premieres his "concerto for marimba & strings" as a composer as well as a soloist at the topkapi palace in istanbul/ turkey.Writes orchestral Arrangements for the japanese Trio „Quruli“ for their actual cd "Tanzwalzer"and „Philharmonic or die“ DVD.Tours with „lana & flip“ through Germany,Austria,Slovenia& Switzerland. Premieres his Composition "Der Schlag des Schmetterlingflügels" for the wiener kammerduo at the wiener musikverein/brahmssaal.Recordes "descartes" with paul gulda for a vienna art orchestra Record called "European Visionaries".Besides he played with the Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna,Mahler Chamber Orchestra,Super World Orchestra,Orchester des Bayerischen Rundfunk (Germany),Beat Furrer, Friedrich Cerha,Ensemble „Die Reihe“,Heiner Goebbels,Vienna Art Orchestra,Klangforum Wien(A),Sinshi Tanimura (Japan),Fujiko hemming (Japan),Ensemble des 20.Jahrhunderts (A),Ensemble Die Reihe (A),Natalie Cole, Joe Zawinul,Idris Muhamad,Lalo Schifrin, Diana Ross, Placido Domingo,José Carreras, Luciano Pavarotti,Diane Warwick, Wayne Horvitz, Patrick Pulsinger,Kruder& Dorfmeister,Quruli(japan),Franz Hautzinger,Vienna Art Orchestra,Gilbert Becauld,Charles Aznavour,Christian Kolonovits,Igudesman & Joo.
