Received his first music lessons at the age of 6 including recorder & trumpet. He attended percussion courses at the Music University of Graz/Austria.Further on he studied Jazzvibraphone & Jazztheory at the Berklee Summercollege of Music in Perugia / Italy.1986 I switched to the vibraphone .1989 I became Principal Percussionist of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.2000 composes the music to the ballet " Caravaggio" with Tunakan & Pulsinger for the Volksoper Wien.2004 premieres an original composition at the opera in Cairo "dissonata concordata" for 2 percussions and 2 pianos with Ferhan & Ferzan Önder .2006 Austrian premiere of "marimbavibe" a piece for marimba/vibraphone & stringquartet composed by the Austrian Jazzcomposers legend Michael Mantler.Project at the Kunsthaus KAZ bregenz with the Trio "Gaze“ feat.french vocalist Alice Daquet.One Week Percussion Masterclass at the“ Bunri University“ in Tokushima (Japan).2007 writes the opus "Sketches" for „gradus ad parnassum“ a young musicians contest for the category "solo percussion" & premieres his "concerto for marimba & strings" as a composer as well as a soloist at the topkapi palace in istanbul/ turkey.Writes orchestral Arrangements for the japanese Trio „Quruli“ for their actual cd "Tanzwalzer"and „Philharmonic or die“ DVD.Tours with „lana & flip“ through Germany,Austria,Slovenia& Switzerland.
